How far in advance should I order?
At least 48 hours notice is required. However for orders with complex design elements and sugar art, it is best to place your order as soon as possible.

How do I order a Panache cake?
The best way to start the order process is to first e-mail us. Please provide the following information and we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your order:

  • - Date of event
  • - Delivery time and location
  • - Occasion or event theme (wedding, birthday, etc.)
  • - Number of guests cake needs to serve
  • - Your e-mail address and telephone number
  • - Ideas and description of the cake design you had in mind
  • Do you offer in-person consultations and tastings?
Most orders can be finalized by phone or e-mail. However we do offer free consultations by appointment for weddings and large-scale events.

Tastings are available for weddings and large-scale events. Please inquire for more details.

    Do you deliver?
Delivery and set up is free of charge anywhere in Calgary. For orders outside of Calgary, delivery starts at $10 based on distance traveled.

What is the purpose of fondant?
The purpose of fondant is to provide a beautiful, smooth canvas for creating wonderful designs and also to protect the cake and help keep it moist and fresh. The fondant we use is soft and marshmallowy. If you choose to have your cake covered in fondant, it is first covered with an outer layer of buttercream and finished with a thin layer of fondant - the best of both worlds.

    Are your products allergen-free?
Our products may contain or come in contact with milk, wheat, nuts, cocoa or other allergens. Our chocolate fondant contains nut oils. It is your responsibility to inform your guests of this fact. We recommend anyone with such allergies use their discretion when ordering our products.

How do I preserve a Panache cake to eat at a later date?
If you are planning on eating the cake within a few days, cover or wrap the cake and refrigerate. Bring it to room temperature (approx. half an hour) before eating. If you are planning on saving it for a future date, wrap the cake very well and freeze it. Let it thaw in the refrigerator for several hours, then bring to room temperature and enjoy.

Cupcakes can be stored in the refrigerator. Bring them to room temperature or pop them in the microwave for 10 seconds and they are absolutely fantastic.
